add blue berries, sub coolwhip for yogurt, use actual granola (but just a little pinch) and you have one of my favorite breakfasts

Diethealth, Strawberry Parfait is delicious and appetizing. You can never be denied the opportunity to try this dessert. Just one quick note- be sure to use whipping cream that doesn’t contain transfat- hydrogenated oils. Cool whip is one example that does contain hydrogenated oil- you can find that out just by reading the label. I hope this helps you to make a well informed decision on finding a healthy ingredient to use in your Strawberry Parfait.

i made this today with yogurt instead of cool whip and it was delicious! thanks :)

Thegirlnextdoor42 September 8, 2010 at 10:02 am

I think you would benefit more by using low-fat yogurt. Less calories than cool-whip right?
